Heritage Choir is BACK!
We closed out this year’s community outreach programming with a Heritage Choir Community Sing at University Baptist Church on May 6th, 2023. The event was a partnership between Heritage Choir and Achieve Language Academy students, one of our Chorus America partner schools, led by Julie Schramke. The event was beautiful: Heritage Choir prepared several pieces, and Achieve prepared several solo pieces - some featuring donkey jawbones we purchased with Chorus America grant funds!
It was really exciting to finally run a session of Heritage Choir with our full six week model that we had hoped to launch in March 2020. We had a chance to dig into more challenging repertoire, really pull programming ideas from choir members and we spent the morning of the Community Sing
